New Landal Congregational Church, Burton Stone Lane.
Does anyone know please if this church has a burial ground as I have traced my ancestor John Morgan who married at this place in 1957. He died in 1959 and I am wondering that if this was his place of worship it's possible he may be buried here also.
Thank you very much  :)

I have a copy of the National Index of Parish Registers which will probably answer your question, but I'm struggling to work out where this is. Is it Burton? And if so, which one - there are a few, mostly with another word in their name, such as Bishop Burton, Burton Pidsea etc.

Edit:
I've now found the church - New Lendal Congregational (now URC) on Burton Stone Lane in York. According to the NIPR, the burial ground was in use until 1929, so he must have been buried elsewhere.

York Cemetery? - see http://yorkcemetery.org.uk/
Details of their lookup/search service - http://yorkcemetery.org.uk/genealogy/fsopen.htm

See also York Crematorium, where some burial records are held - https://www.york.gov.uk/info/20029/deaths/1088/burial_and_cremation_records
