Thanks for that. The 1911 census is the right family before Anne married Pat Dolan in Oct 1911. I have found 3 baptisms for McManus children of this 3rd marriage - John, Bridget and Philip. I wonder about them and also where their parents died and were buried. Liam

Hmm i wonder
McManus Annie died 30th Nov 1933,Chapel St,Swanlinbar,Co Cavan
Administration by Brigid McKiernan ,executor
Search Archives here also 3 Philip McManus
http://www.nationalarchives.ie/search-the-archives/

if this is her death its way out age 76 maybe whoever was the informant did'nt really know how old she was or the McKiernan connection is just coincidence.

Really interesting - thanks. Annie was baptised in 1870 so 74 in 1933 is a bit of a stretch. Also I don't have a Patrick as a son for Annie and Philip and their youngest in my records - son Philip - was baptised in 1918 when Annie would have been 48 so the odds on another child while not impossible must be slim. The Bridget McKiernan does raise an interesting question mark - Annies sister Bridget was married to an O'Reilly but she had 2 cousins/nieces named Bridget. The search goes on. Really appreciate the help. Liam
