George Kent baptism please 1644 Staffordshire

George Kent married Frances Smith in Waterfall 13 JUNE 1671

First name(s) George Last name Kent Age 27 Birth year 1644 Marriage year 1671 Marriage year as transcribed 1671 Marriage date 13 Jun 1671 Marriage place Waterfall County Staffordshire Marriage Place 1 Waterfall Residence parish Daldon Residence county Staf.

Parish stated as Daldon?  His children were baptised in Cauldon so not sure if there is an error in translation.

Can't find any baptism for George as of yet.

You're welcome.  Yes I have Kent ancestors from Cauldon too.  Waterfall was partly in the Parish of Cauldon at that time (and often spelt 'Caldon') so I think the 'Daldon' you have is likely just a typo.

Where did you get the info on his baptism date from??  I've had a quick look through Waterfall, but can't spot him anywhere between 1635-1650...

The marriage is also transcribed on freereg although it doesn't give a place of abode there

Just counted back 27 years from his marriage date as it states age 27 at the time so it gives us a rough idea.
