Capper of Lurgan
« on: Tuesday 01 March 16 19:36 GMT (UK) »
This is starting to drive me nuts, unless I have done something wrong.

My Mary Ann Capper born 1832, was the daughter of William Capper and presumably Elizabeth Hamilton.
William and Elizabeth married 1821 in Shankill.

I have William born 1779, he would of been 42 at time of marriage, had he been married once before, or have I got the wrong William Capper?

Also no records of a Elizabeth Hamilton unless she was also a widow at time of marriage.

There seems to be four children born before their marriage of 1821 (unless they are to another William and Margaret)

William birth date is at 1779, the presumed father of William (Thomas Capper) was well dead and buried by 1785, so that can't be him.

There seems to be a number of William Capper's and trying to match the correct one with my family is proving to be quite hard.

I have checked FindMyPast, family search a new set of eyes to guide me on the right track would be great.
