Birth/marriage records Edith Laycock or Ambler

Edith (also written as Eden) Laycock, born in Shipton married Francis Exelby at Overton on Ouse in 1815, but was this her first marriage? - I cannot find a birth record.  I can find a marriage of Eden Ambler to Joseph Laycock in 1809 - birth date 1783 is same for both Ediths.  This seems like too much of a coincidence, but I need something else to be sure - any ideas?

There is a burial of a Joseph Laycock at St Cuthburt, Overton on the 7th July 1812. Same place as where Edith married 3 years later - another coincidence?

Have you had sight of the 1815 marriage entry in the parish register which would show her either as a widow or spinster

The marriage was with consent of parents, no mention of Edith as a Widow?

EDIT Francis is of Overton, but Edith just says what appears to be Aforesaid, another marriage states same when groom of Overton.

The Joseph Laycock buried in Overton 1812 was a child born c1804

There is a baptism of an EDEN Ambler in the NC registers daughter of Timothy on 1 Mar 1772, at New Malton, bit out of the way from Overton.

Hi again, looking again at original marriage, with reference to "Of parents" prior to parents is a smudged mark, that possibly could be read as Grooms?

One of the witnesses though was a Timothy Ambler?

I think I can marry this Eden Ambler off to an Abraham Frankland, but there are lots of 'Amblers' around Halifax ( info from a tree on Anc*) and record from FS

Timothy Ambler as a witness sounds interesting, Eden Ambler above had a brother Timothy.
