Hmmm... I would urge just a smidgen of caution.  I'm not saying this isn't them, just to be aware that the Delahunty surname, uncommon in the all Ireland context, isn't so (uncommon) in the neighbouring counties of Tipperary and Kilkenny, in fact this is where the large majority of them were in the 1901 Ireland census.  In addition, the occupation car man is really not uncommon either, try it yourself, search the 1901 Ireland census using "car man" or "carman".

I searched a commercial website for possible baptisms for Patrick, John, James and Michael and while nothing jumped out for those specific birth years, there were quite a few in the ball park, with father's name John.

Hopefully this is them, but it would be nice to find some other corroborating piece of information to tie it down.

A few questions
1)where did you get Clonakenny from did someone say they were from there

2)Have you Patrick's marriage cert to confirm fathers name

on the above NLI film i linked i mostly found children of Dan Delahunty and Edward Delahunty in Clonakenny.

so what is the origin of you saying Clonakenny

hi....i know,its a minefield,but
i have Patrick Delahunty on the 1911....he gives his birthplace as Clonakenny.
I have John's marriage cert,,it is on that, that he gives father as John,a coachman (domestic).
and no mention of deceased.
