I don`t know much about Jane I`m afraid except that she was born about 1819.  I am wondering if there were more children. Daniel was married in 1799 and Sarah born in 1813 which is a big gap.

St Leodegarius, Basford, Nottingham:
05 Jul 1835, Ann Kirk d/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Loughborough. Date of Birth: 27 Jul 1799
01 Jan 1836, Maria Kirk d/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Loughborough. Date of Birth: 09 Apr 1811

Also possible?
03 May 1835, Samuel Kirk s/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Basford. Date of Birth: 07 Jun 1801
03 May 1835, Daniel Kirk s/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Basford. Date of Birth: 02 May 1805 **
14 Feb 1836, Hannah Kirk d/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Basford (DoB not given)
16 Dec 1838, Isaac Kirk s/o Daniel & Elizabeth of Basford. Date of Birth: 26 Nov 1824

** a few years adrift but the date of 2 May birth ties with the Daniel baptised 04-Aug 1844 at St Mary's Roman Catholic church.

There are several other children baptised to a Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk in Arnold, Nottinghamshire between 1801 & 1812 but I can only find transcripts so cant say for sure whether they are connected.

If the Basford baptims are correct then these could be Jane's sisters:

All Saints, Loughborough
09 Jun 1825, Ann Kirk & William Harrison*, both OTP
29 Apr 1833, Maria Kirk, Spinster & John Marriott. Both of this parish
17 Jul 1826, Hannah Kirk & William Mills, both OTP

* William Harrison was a witness to the marriage of Jane Kirk (Polkey) to Samuel Price

It seems to me that there were a number of couples with the names Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk.  I have found another one born in 1807 who was a gardener too!  1851 Census in Little Eaton Bank,
Most confusing!!

I suspect that this may be Daniel's son, ie Jane & Sarah's brother.  There is a marriage 23 May 1825 at Nottingham St Mary that would fit - Daniel Kirk & Elizabeth Atkinson.

Baptised at the same church:
16 Apr 1826 Harriet d/o Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk of Octagon Row
16 Dec 1828 Eliza d/o Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk of Sherwin St
29 Dec 1829 Eliza d/o Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk of Sherwood St
14 Feb 1831 Elizabeth d/o Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk of Sherwood St
15 Aug 1832 Sarah Ann d/o Daniel & Elizabeth Kirk of Mansfield Rd

In 1841 Daniel is with daughters Eliza, Elizabeth, Sarah & Hannah (c1837) in Bramcote, and the 1851 census you posted states that Emma Kirk was born in Bramcote in 1841, so the family certainly fits.  This Daniel says he was born Loughborough, and as the baptisms in Basford were of adults, with two making reference to Loughborough, I'd say its a strong possibility.

The baptism of Hannah Kirk on 14 Feb 1836 at St Leodegarius, Basford, is therefore quite possibly the Hannah in Bramcote on the 1841 census.

Also from my CD of Prison Calenders, although Im not sure where he fits in, if at all:
8 Jan 1855, Thomas Kirk, 39, Gardener, of Loughborough, charged with theft.
