Sturminster Union Stalbridge Poor House

My GGfather Frederick Parsons, formerly a builder in Henstridge, lived his last days at Silk House Barton, Stalbridge and died at 1 Bath Road Sturminster Newton. (24th April 1936)

Can someone please confirm if the Stalbridge property was a Poor House or Workhouse, and if
1 Bath Road Sturminster was the Union Workhouse.
