Hi Eric
Back to you, but with bad news . No Mohide baptized in Lattin all the way up to 1899 . Maybe they were baptized in Tipp town .I see Kate a servant in Lattin West in the 1901 census but where are the kids . No sign of Annie in county Tipp.

Hi,

I am not sure I can be of much help about John but Annie was my Grandmother. My father James Lynch was born in October 1923 to Annie (nee Kelly) and James Lynch (snr.). They had six children Catherine (Kitty) Nelly, Nancy, James, John, and Theresa. Regretfully James (snr.) was the victim of a shooting in 1939 and died leaving a very young family, he was 46 years of age. Annie stayed in Ireland for many years, she went to live in England with her son for a brief spell but returned home circa 1969 when she died. The shock of losing her husband in such an awful fashion was too much for Annie and I understand she never really recovered from the horror of it all.

Her brother Patrick (Packie) Kelly died when I was quite small, I would think the early 1970's. He never married.

My mother or my eldest brother may know more. My Father died in 2001 and so I cannot ask him and all of his siblings have passed away too.

I hope this helps in some way. x

this is all so amazing, thank you all.

The one ancestor that alludes everybody is the Father of Conor Mohide (or Mohoid) whose name is not known.

Conor Mohide was born in 1785. He was the son of Officer Mohide (believed to have served in the French Legion Etrangere before returning to Ireland with his wife, who was an Unknown Frenchwoman).

Conor married Hanora O'Brien or Brien in 1809. They had six children, who children were born or baptized in Corderry, Co Tip, or Galbally, Co Limerick and were named Conor b.1810, Ann b.1810, Timothy b.1813, Mary b.1818, Patrick b.1820 and Micheal b. 1829.

Is it possible there are any clues to their details anywhere?
