Coroner's Inquests in Ireland
« on: Wednesday 09 March 16 15:44 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone,

Does anyone happen to know if a Coroner's Inquest held in 1925 in Cloncarlin, near Monasterevin would be available to view anywhere please?

Unfortunately the local Irish newspapers for that area do not appear to be on line yet.

Many thanks

Try the Kildare Observer (free)

I got up to 1929 just using Cloncarlin.
Didn't get anything when I added inquest but you might have more luck knowing the names.

Sinann,

Thank you so much for telling me about that newspaper website - I had no idea it existed.
That is very helpful information indeed.

Your very welcome, it's very handy for Kildare stuff, I read recently that another paper was added, the Leinster Express, but that isn't free

I'll plan another €10 session sometime soon but not until the Nationalist is added.

I subscribe to Find My Past and there are loads of Irish papers on that site - but unfortunately not this Kildare one for the time frame I need.

Now I know about this one, I can use it for the families I am currently banging my head against a brick wall with! You never know - this paper may just provide me with some useful snippets.
