Great resource hallmark!

There's a great offer for one month of Findmypast (check it includes Ireland).   That would give you access to many newspapers.

This PDF from July 2015 is a list of various parishes and says where the records currently are or whether they were lost in the 1922 fire etc.

http://ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/registers/ParishRegistersTable.pdf

It says that the Cappoquin records were lost in 1922, along with Affane, but there are some Villierstown and Lismore records.  But accessing them from the other side of the world isn't easy, particularly when you're not sure when and where they married.

The Dungarven records are mentioned.  Melesina and her siblings may have been baptised there.

Do you think Beville could be a Hugenot surname?

Hi Hurworth,

Thank you for your reply. I have no details on Anne Beville, other than she married Michael Bateman and had a daughter, my great great grandmother, Melisina (or Melicina as it was on her birth certificate).  ;D ;D ;D ;D

You could try to find whether your ancestors' baptism and marriage records are amongst the records in the link below.

I think you might find it beneficial to try to learn more about Waterford and Cork in this era.  I'm wondering whether the name Melisina is a bit of a clue and has been chosen for a reason.  If you Google "Melesina Waterford" a few records come up.   There's some Hugenot Melisinas (e.g. Fleury).

Having the same first name doesn't necessarily mean they are related, but they may have some connection in some way.

Annclare found the marriage.

I wouldN'T be surprised if your Anne had a sister called Melesina Beville though.   (edited to add the N'T I left off)

You could order the 1846 Long-Beville marriage to see her residence, father's name & occupation, witnesses.

Marriage for Ann Beville came from rootsireland a subscription site - searched for children of this couple but didn't find any.

Found this church marriage but no record of parents as Aghadowey said you would have to get the civil marriage record to get parents names. Beville mistranscribed as Deville.
