R H Colley 1908 (Ruabon)

Found this male relative in the 1911 census but it only lists the initials and not the whole name.  Have not been able to locate the birth or marriage/death certs. to help me determine the actual given names.
Any one know why this census is recorded this way and where I might be able to sort his names out. Tried applying "naming conventions" but there is no one else in the family with names that match these initials, that I could find.

Hi Richard, he appears to be from his birth registration, Rupert Harry Colley June qtr 1907 Wrexham 11b 240

His baptism has been incorrectly transcribed as ROBERT Harry Colley 11th July 1907 Rhosymedre Father John William occ Tile Worker Mother Gertrude Ethel

Aileen Francis Colley 27th October 1904 Rhosymedre same parents/occupation

"Rupert"  1st time for this family.

Any idea as to why the census only gave the "initials" instead of the full names (other than a lazy numerator).  Certainly makes it harder to find people, unless you have direct access to other listings.

In 1911 householders completed their own census so if anyone was lazy it was his parent or whoever filled it in!

Unless he was in an institution or something with a whole lot of other people then you might find initials only

 I have lots of Colley's born in Shropshire area.  But some were in Newcastle around that time but here is what I have for this branch in Wales.

William Colley 1845 - 1916 born Shropshire (his father and siblings were also born here and I have these as well).
Wife Martha Machin 1841 1911 Shropshire
Children:
Mary Amelia Cooley 1871 1954 born Gateshead
Fanny Colley 181875 1889 born Denbighshire
John William Colley 1879 - 1928 born Denbighshire and his family mentioned above.
