Parents may be using only 1 name also (William/Matilda).

Hi trish - I was just pondering on the same family -and found a baptism of one of the children(possiblly) parents William & Jane matilda

My step grandfather had 4 fore names - apart from his birth reg he only used 2 forenames -albeit a different 2 on both of his marriages and his death reg !!! Makes life difficult for us
