You could put all the information from the certificates onto freebmd with 'postems' .   Then the info would be available to anyone looking.

If you've put them on postems and on here that's the very best you can do.   Did you eventually find the person you were looking for?

Hi Silvery

I have now found the John Smith for whom I was searching.  I have recorded his details in a topic which I have started in the Cumberland forum.  I have ordered one further certificate trying to find the death of Mary Smith.  This is an expensive business of hit-and-miss!

Here are details from the Death Certificate for another Mary Smith.  I have also posted a Postem on FreeBMD.

Mary Smith
Died: 15 September 1896 at Elliot's Court, Main Street, Cockermouth
Aged: 74 years
Widow of George Smith, Manchester Warehouseman
Cause of death: Bronchitic Asthma & Pleurisy
Registered by: J H (could be I H) Musgrove, Son, Elliot's Court, Main Street, Cockermouth.

I have now run out of Mary Smiths and not found the one I was looking for!  Hey ho!
