There is a way around this problem which I found by accident   ;)

When you find the entry you want a link for right click on the name and select 'open in new tab' (in the new tab the correct link will show)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Nice one, thanks, it was doing my head in, of course I'm on iPad just now but discovered if you keep your finger on the name the choice to open in a new tab comes up.

The Athlone Woolen Mills was established by Edward Maloney Gleeson, he died in 1895 estate valued at £107,501,14s,9d. His wife died the following month, their daughter was a well known artist.
