Death notice look up

Anyone at Newcastle Library who could check a death notice in the Evening Chronicle I'd appreciate your help.

The notice would be for Margaret Forster (nee Armstrong) of Longbenton who died March 1950

There are 3 Margaret Forster deaths in the March qtr 1950 - all in Northumberland.  Longbenton came under Northumberland South RD in 1950  so which entry is she?

What was her actual date of death?  Deaths in late December are often only registered after Christmas and shown in the March qtr

The March qtr covers from 1st Jan - 31st March so knowing her actual death date will help narrow any newspaper search

Do you still want this death notice look up?  I see this is an older request.  If so, I will be able to go to the library for you at some point in the next two weeks.  I presume you do not know the exact date of death.

Where was she buried/cremated?  I need to know this to help narrow down dates to be able to do look up. 

If you do not know it may still be possible to find her in the burial/cremation books and then microfilm for full details at North Shields library. If this information is found (i.e. date of burial) it should be a lot easier to find her death notice at the Newcastle library.  (A lot easier than trawling through three months worth of newspapers).
