Thanks to everyone for the information about Caroline and in such a short time :)
There is a lot to look through and add to the family tree.
It has been said that Caroline Rule was injured at Brunton's fuse works.
http://www.balmaiden.co.uk/SearchDetails.asp?Surname=&FirstNames=caroline&Submit=Submit&offset=360&Counter=23504
There isn't a Caroline Roll living at that address in 1871 although Caroline Rule is at Tregajorran with her mother in 1871.
Small differences but may be one and the same.
No chance of finding the injury that she had.

I believe the obituary of John Towan HOSKING (d.1905) ] has a typo should be

 edited see following two posts

John Rowan HOSKING  - so conforming with this birth in NZ BDM
1894/1217     Hosking    Euphemia Hamilton    Annie Maria   John Rowan

There is a Presbyterian Archives Queenstown Parish Baptism
HOSKING    Euphemia Hamilton    1894   B/23/4

Mmm ... rather think that the 1894 birth record is incorrect.   ;)

There is a namesake son "John Towan HOSKING" with an 1899 birth registration born to same couple.

The majority of records for John T. HOSKING (d. 1905)... his death registration / probate record / marriage record, (and if I remember correctly his obituary ?),  all give his second christian name as "Towan".

His 1868 NZ Birth Registration though has his name listed as John Tower HOSKING (which would seem to be a transcription error possibly ? ) Parents:  Emma and Peter HOSKING.
