Hereford Times 21st July 1849
Deaths
July 1, at the Ford, Middleton, deeply regretted by all who knew him, Mr William Patshall, aged 68.

Dave

There is also an article in 1864 Hereford times  that I can see but can't read in full re Mary Ann   possibly her death as it reads

Hereford Times Herefordshire, England
3 Dec 1864

Abbey, Mary Ann Pateshall, of Upper Hennor, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Wm. Pateshall, of the Ford, in the parish of Middleton-on-the-Hill, farmer. No cards.

then there is a death of Annie Pateshall Dec qrter Aston ????

Also find William Pateshall of Upper Hennor in a few more areas who I am assuming is Son of William of Ford....

 ??? ???Cheran

The first one you cite is actually Mary Ann's marriage:

EDMUNDS - PATESHALL Nov 30 at the parish church of Kimbolton, in this county, by Rev Thomas Hutchinson, MA incumbent, Thomas Edmunds Esq of Bilbury, late of Moor Abbey, to Mary Ann Pateshall of Upper Hennor, youngest daughter of the late Mr Wm Pateshall of the Ford, Middleton on the Hill, farmer.  No cards.

It also looks like that Thomas Edmunds was a near neighbour - see here for a description of Moor Abbey, and The Ford

I am wondering if Thomas was a widow when he marries Mary Ann given that it appears likely them on the 1871 Census in Abbey Moore, Parish of Middleton on the Hill with a son who is 15 years old.....

Yes, I think he would have married as a widower.  The 1861 census shows Thomas Edmunds and his family at Moor Abbey Farm.  His wife is shown as being called Catherine, aged 40, apparently born in Middleton, although the 1851 census suggests she was born at Sommers Town, Middlesex
