Help with Ann Best please b.c.1745?

I have Ann Best b.c.1745 Crockenhill.
She married James Strudwick 24 March 1768 in Eynsford.
They had a daughter Mercy b.c.1769.  I've tried to research the daughter and some results state her name as Mercy and some as Mary.
I can't figure out if it's the same person or if Mercy and Mary are sisters?
On her marriage certificate she is Mercy married to William Dunmall.
Anyway I'm also after Ann's parents, they may be John Best and Elizabeth.
I'd be grateful for any help with this.

Looking at available data I would assume Mercy was Mary who adopted Mercy as her name.
 The only Ann Best I could see in Kent at the right birth time frame was Baptised 09 Mar 1739 at Snodland Daughter of William and Mary.
What makes you think Crockenhill as POB

Plenty of room for Ann to fit in but she doesnt appear to have been Baptised Eynsford to John/Sarah
There is a ANN Best 1742 High Halstow to JOSEPH/SUSAN
