Edward Hynes married Margaret Thompson in 1847, Liverpool.

To confirm this is the correct family and equally the parents of Amelia, it would be advisable to purchase her birth cert.

Referring to the above marriages you have found, Margaret Wilson married Thomas Moss.

So, they were married in a Church of England location - St Nicholas.  But Anne and Marie, parents shown as Edward and Margaret, were both baptised as Roman Catholics - St Anthony.  :-\  I find that a little strange - but that might just be me  :-*

I thought that all non C of E people (except Jews and Quakers I think) had to marry in a C of E Church OR a Registrar had to be present at that time.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

C of E location pre-1837 and Civil Registration, except Jews and Quakers.  Post-1837 any location, but if not a C of E church, then the Registrar attended.  Again, I could be totally wrong  :-*
