William is on the 1861 Census (born 1827) but by himself.

He shows on the Familysearch index, which is often more reliable than FindMyPast:-

The problem with FindMyPast is that you can't include the birth place, but you can on Familysearch. If you have a subscription, clicking the link will take you to the image.

Thank you for the replies with William ---have you had any luck with Elizabeth and son Robert, I have check the bapt records for Mary Elizabeth Jones bapt; July 1861 so she may have not been born by the census time. Going around all the relatives houses to see if Elizabeth is living with them  as the baby is about due
 Thank's again

Thank you for the replies---- I have just remember why I gave up on the Vaughan side of the family which William's wife was Elizabeth Vaughan born 1829 in Ellesmere. Would any one have Robert Vaughan 1803 Ruyton and Hannah Vaughan nee Jones born 1804 West Felton and there children in there family tree I would love to find where they were in 1861, while  I was on Ancestry I could not find them either

I can't find them either but I did notice that Haughto/Houghton, where they were living in 1851 and 1871, seems to be a few pages short in 1861 (Missing?).

However I did find a memorial inscription for their son, Robert, in 1859, which suggests that they were probably there. Perhaps Elizabeth and young Robert there also.
