Can anyone help with any of the following?
I have the following children baptised at Pitcombe, Somerset, (no parents details given):
Robert Wilton 10th June 1548
Jane Wilton 27th November 1550
John Wilton 2nd April 1551
Joan Wilton 30th November 1553
Margaret Wilton 18th December 1553
Mary Wilton 4th April 1555
Robert Wilton 9th January 1558
John Wilton 16th October 1560
Edith Wilton 7th June 1565
also two children I cannot find baptisms for George and Elizabeth Wilton.
From information gained from family wills, Elizabeth Wilton married a Toby Pleydell (Pledall), and died in 1634 at Cumnor, Berkshire. Her will was disputed between her sisters son Thomas Jennings, and her alleged brother John Wilton senior.
Edith Wilton married a Thomas Jennings on 11th January 1590 at Pitcombe and had the following issue:
Thomas Jennings baptised 15th August 1591, Daventry, Northamptonshire
Richard Jennings baptised 13th April 1595, Daventry, Northamptonshire
William Jennings baptised 13th April 1595, Daventry, Northamptonshire
Jane Jennings baptised 26th February 1597, Daventry, Northamptonshire
John Jennings baptised 24th September 1600, Daventry, Northamptonshire
Edith Wiltons brother George Wilton married Anne Dalby and his first two children were also baptised at Daventry in 1589 and 1590 - Deliverance and Patience Wilton.
Deliverance Wilton (born 1588/9 Daventry) left a will in 1627 where he mentions Richard Jennings and wife and children.
If anyone can help with the Wiltons parentage or any of the above much appreciated!
