HI
Many Thanks for the info sorry for being little blank but what does the "Shop" mean did they have a shop or does this mean home
What my Grandfather told me many years ago that there was some Blacksmiths in the Family and one of the Family set up a Blacksmith on the West Coast of New Zealand

I have no idea!
The Cornwall OPC entry simply says "Residence: Shop"?!
Take a look for yourself. ;D

Hi in every census from 1841 to 1881 James and Elizabeth and family lived at Shop, whether this was an actual shop I do not know?
In one census James becomes a Farmer of 30 acres at same address? '

PS Eliza Ann b c 1833 stays with her parents throughout the census returns.

Have a look at http://www.stcolumbminor.co.uk/

Click on "Than and Now", and then "Shop".

I get the feeling that, being a village, there was just the one shop?! ;D
