can't post to common room
« on: Tuesday 12 April 16 09:56 BST (UK) »
I've tried to put a new topic up in the common room, but when I submit I just go back to a blank 'start new topic' page and there is no sign of the post. I don't even know if this will work. What am i doing wrong??

I see you attached images, perhaps it was something to do with the size? I now post the question etc then go back and modify to add pictures as that seems to work better, at least that way you don't lose the writing and have to start again.

You've been getting the error of:

"Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again."

It's a quirk of the system to allow us to show attachments in an efficient way as we can.

So before attaching an image, rename the file to something that is unique. So, for example, you could start all your attachments with "Nell1707" so the attachment ffs1.jpg would become Nell1707ffs1.jpg (ort something like that). Or you could just put in today's date 160412 at the beginning, or anything like that really.

All the best,
Trystan
