Canadian references suggest that "Hugh" was Richard Bethune SANGSTER and died in 1999 aged 52-53.

Kooky,

Robert Gray Sangster and Barbara Una Doull Bethune were married in Kampala, Uganda in about 1939. Robert worked as a forester in Uganda and then as Conservator of Forests in Tanzania. A photo of Robert in camp in Budongo, Uganda and another of the couple after their marriage in Kampala, Uganda is posted on the Ancestry Family Tree 'Sangster'.
