i am trying to follow minnie louisa  clarke from Wormingford Essex

parents George Scott and Susannah Cardy


i have a death for Minnie Louisa Scott  1885-1964  in the Braintree area

i had been thinking she married  FREDERICK LAYZELL or Laysell

13 Oct 1917, Wormingford.Essex.

i have her 1901 still in Wormingford with her parents working as a teacher

She is in Wormingford in 1911 and appears to marry Frederick Layzell in 1917.  They are together in 1939. Minnie Layzell appears to die in 1968.

What further info are you wanting?

I am confused by your mention of Minnie L Clarke.

If she married Frederick Layzell could this be her  :-\

I checked the parish records but they do not go as far as 1917. There is a banns register at the register office for that period. You could email the essex records office as you have the date. Some kind person might look it up as you have the exact date? If not you could send for the marriage cert which is £9.25 at the GRO. It would tell you if she married Frederick, as it would have her father's name on the cert?
