Hi

In the 1841 census Ambrose is living with his sister Ann and Jane, their niece.

I understand that Ambrose was widowed so was wondering what happened to his wife.

He was in his 40s when he married but I don't know how old she was.

The Eyles seemed to use the St Michaels and All Angels church in Melksham for baptisms, marriages etc.

Now I notice that one of you has an interest in Chatfields from Sussex. My husband has one of those in his line who came to NZ via Australia in the 1800s and I'm having great difficulty sorting him out
