William Will Born Aberdeen 20th March 1893

WILLIAM WILL born ABERDEEN 20th MARCH 1893
Grateful for any assistance please as I am trying to confirm who the parents were of this man.  I believe it was William and Sarah Heathwick Will but 'Ancestry' has a couple of other William Wills's born around the same time.
If anybody can confirm this or can provide any other details regarding William who served in the Royal Navy in WW1 I will be most grateful.

The site you want is Scotland's People www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. You can view an image of the birth certificate of William Will there at modest cost.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

As Forfarian has said Scotlands People would be the best place to get his birth confirming parents names ....You can claim 20 free credits on Scotlands People by putting Scotland in the voucher box ..As you have access to Ancestry you would have seen the Royal Navy Seamans Record
