Anyone know what HOARSTONE in Fauls was?
« on: Friday 15 April 16 00:16 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I'm currently researching my ancestors - the Ecclestone family and Arrowsmith family - and have found an 1871 census entry that shows them living at 3 Hoarstone in Fauls, Shropshire. Does anyone have any idea what this might have been? They were involved in agriculture if that helps and the Ecclestone family were from the Hodnet area while the Arrowsmiths were from Prees.

Thanks so much in advance!

That's fascinating, thanks for the link.
So i wonder, would there have been a farm or cottage near this site with the same name?
