« on: Friday 15 April 16 03:39 BST (UK) »
Looking for more information about William Lloyd Coombs his wife  Margaret Janet Turner Thomson,
and his life as a builder. His father was also a builder and his uncle a carpenter. I have read a little about Norwood and its development but how do I find out if he worked for himself or whether they had their own business, he died at such a young age.

William Lloyd Coombs was born in Apr 1864 in St George Southwark, London as the second child of William Bryer Coombs and Ellen Greenstreet. He had four siblings, namely: Julia Cecilia, Harry Giles, Nelly, and Bryer George
Margaret married William Lloyd Coombs a Batchelor and builder from West Norwood, aged 26 and son of William Bryer Coombs, also a Builder and Ellen Greenstreet. Their marriage was solemnized, in a ceremony on 29 Dec 1890 at the Church of England, Parish Church of St John the Evangelist, Auckland Road, Brixton, England, which was built in 1876, in the presence of Samuel Thomson, and Alice Barnsby.
William died on 21 Jun 1892 in West Norwood, Surrey, England (Builder). He was buried on 25 Jun 1892 in Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Road, Lambeth, England (Age: 28).  He was buried on 25 Jun 1892 in Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Road, Lambeth, England (Age: 28).
Probate was served on the 23rd July 1892. He was described as William Lloyd Coombs of St Margaret’s, Wolfington Road, Norwood Surrey, Builder
Margaret died on 19 Dec 1903. Her probate notice reads Margaret Janet Turner Coombs of 1 Romola-Road Herne Hill Surrey widow died 19th December 1903 at 70 Alma Street Falkirk
