Have I got the correct family
« on: Friday 15 April 16 16:21 BST (UK) »
Wondering if anyone can help.
Edith A Haycock born abt 1894, Edith married a Walter Wallace in 1925 in Bristol, and fathers name is showed as James Haycock. I have found what I think is Edith on familysearch.org 1901 aged 7 yrs visiting grandparents... John and Harriet Haycock, is there anyway I can confirm I have the right Edith?....I can't access full 1901 census. And would like to confirm that this is James Haycocks parents.
Many thanks in advance for reading.

Going back to 1881, there is no James listed as a son, you would expect him to be there then.

Hi Claire
Thank you so much for doing the look up...that's fits nicely as Edith's fathers profession is carpenter...(James Haycock).... Just need to find him now  :).
Many thanks again Claire

Hi

SNAP ~ groom

I can't see this family with a son JAMES in any other census, although he could have been elsewhere.

1891 does show a James aged 7months but in 1901 I think he could well be the 'William J' aged 10,  in the same household as Edith A aged 7.  ???

If Edith was born 1894, you would expect her father to be born around 1874 or perhaps earlier.

Do you have Edith in 1939 as that may give a clue as to her date of birth, or her death registration
