Kincardineshire Resources - broken links
« on: Sunday 17 April 16 17:01 BST (UK) »
Is it possible for someone to help?

I am looking for Kincardineshire records covering the period before 1841.  Some of the links in the Resources list are broken and I'm looking for alternative places to look.  Areas I'm researching are Benholm, Johnshaven, St Cyrus and Kinneff.

Thanks.

We seem to have a few similar names of interest.

I have a few Peat's in my tree. Also very early unconfirmed records of Will, Clerk/Clarks and a Middleton from similar areas to you. Will have a look tomorrow and see what I have and see if anything matches yours.

Unfortunately all my ancestors are from the Midlands (England).  However, I live in what was Kincardineshire and can sometimes help with local stuff.
