John and Nancy Wilson farmers possibly to Manitoba after 1892?
« on: Sunday 17 April 16 17:16 BST (UK) »
I am looking for John Wilson b 1859 Lancashire and his wife Nancy b 1856 Lancashire (although in some census in UK her birthplace is shown as Yorkshire) They married in 1892 as widowers and then seem to have disappeared from records in UK.  I have found a google article about John's father (Michael Wilson) which says he helped two of his sons to set up in Manitoba. ( Many of Nancy's birth family (Hird)  emigrated to Ontario though) Would very much appreciate any help to see if they did in fact come to Canada probably before 1901. Thank you

Was Nancy previously married to William Grime ? If so this family in 1901 look likely :

Nancy Wilson 45 born England
Annie Grime 19             "
Belle Grime 17
Hetty Grime 15
William Wilson 8  born Manitoba
Clara Agnes Wilson 6      "
Margaret Ella Wilson 3     "
John Wilson 2   "

address Macdonald , Manitoba, immigration year 1892
