I know she would never have known it, but Emma Chadwick is like a volcano, one which keeps erupting day after day, bring forth new gems from deep below the surface.
My initial need to find my great grandmother, Hannah, has already gone further than I anticipated and it seems sad to think that she, like so many others, probably died in childbirth.
How my father and his brothers/sister would love to know the story that you and I have developed, but too late for them, but not too late for those who follow me. I've decided to continue now and try to find Emma's later life.
