Help finding Sarah Sutton of Ash, Shropshire

Hi everyone,

I'm having a little trouble tracking down an ancestor, Sarah Sutton. From 1881 onwards I have her on census records as living in Liverpool, where her date of birth is given every time as 1848 and her place of birth as Ash, Shropshire. I also have her marriage certificate showing that in 1876 she married William Arrowsmith in Fauls.

On the marriage certificate her current residence is given as Sanford and her father, William Sutton, is a Labourer. Again her age of 28 puts her DOB around 1848. Only, I can't seem to pin down any record of her before 1876. Would anyone be able to help point me in the right direction to find Sarah and father William?

Although the age is a bit out this one might be worth considering in 1851 living in Ash Parva near Whitchurch, Shropshire  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKVT-WW5R

I think this is the baptism of the possible brother - shown in 1851 - Thomas https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NG6Y-Q9G   and Thomas in 1871 with birthplace listed as Ash https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VFTC-CKC

Possible baptism on 20 April 1845 in Ash (Magna), daughter of William and Bessy.  Possible marriage of William Sutton and Elizabeth Millington on 1 September 1842 in Whitchurch. Residence was Ash Acres.  Father' names Thomas Sutton and William Millington.  Possible entry for Sarah in 1851 census in Ash Acres with mother Elizabeth, sister Mary (born about 1843) and brother Thomas born about 1850.  Marriage of Sarah and William Arrowsmith in Wem in 1876.

Thank you both so much for looking into that. Definitely very interesting. Her age is given on the marriage certificate as 28, putting her birthdate at 1848, and around that year for subsequent census records but could be that she lied about her age/or it's a mistake from the clerk?

As someone from neighbouring Cheshire and not too familiar with that part of Shropshire, are Ash and Ash Magna/Ash Parva/Ash Acres all the same place or at least a similar area?

Re her age, my grandmother was over 30 when she first married and she took 5 years off her age!  Maybe Sarah didn't want to be much older than her husband?
