Hi Tom,
Yes I found them too but the mystery is that their parents don't fit with the previous sets you found unless Mary and Margaret are one and the same Thomson. Also if Robert was b 1716, he'd have been 36 when he married Margaret-bit old unless he was a widower?
Perhaps Robert and Margaret were the children of Margaret and Mary Thomson?

Hi CR,

Yes, there is no other records that we can call on to assist. Did somebody write in wrong name, Mary or Margaret, open to conjecture, but no definite answer. Were they brother and sister, cannot prove that either. Maybe some day we may get an answer.

Yes It's very frustrating, perhaps someone will sign up on here in the future who has the family Bible and the knowledge about the ancestors.
