William Frazer / Mary Nind

I have a marriage between William Fraser / Frazier and Mary Nind in Evesham in 1865. It was by banns.  I have tried without luck to find out who his parents were. I have managed through Rootsweb to find someone else chasing the same name but has also drawn a blank.

Are their fathers not named on the marriage.  Who were the witnesses.

What information do you have on them regarding age and place of birth from census

When you say the marriage is by banns, do you mean that you have not found it on free bmd, so did it definitely happen?

All I have is a copy of the certificate. It does not give any parents details. Just the names of the witnesses and the curate. A closer look at the copy of the certificate - and it is a poor copy - it does say married by license with consent of both parties so sorry  about the 'banns' mentioned earlier.

Was the year 1865 or 1825 - if a certificate then definitely 1865 - where did you get it from?

It came from the Worcester records office.  It is hard to read their writing so I have blown it up and it reads 5th July 1825.  Sorry about my error on first log about date.

Is this Mary in 1851 in Birmingham. Warwickshire?

Francis E Fraser, 13, Daug, born Evesham
Richard Spilsbury, 70, Lodger, Carpenter

This seems to be them in 1841 in Evesham;

Living next door are;
Benjn NIND, 64, Gardener  (1777) Not born in County
Sarah Nind, 58  (1783)
Isaac Nind, 16 (1825)
Sarah/Isaac born in County

1851 Census Benjamin Nind, indexed as RIND is born c Sleester, Worcestershire.
Think this should be be Alcester, Warwickshire
Sarah is born c 1781 Eveham

William must have died before 1841 Census
