Brennan
« on: Saturday 23 April 16 14:58 BST (UK) »
I have James Brennan, wife Mary(Higgins) daughter Elizabeth in 1911 census in Slieveragh Muskerry West Co Cork.  Their home was a RIC barrack. Is there a ric record available for James born Leighlinbridge Co Carlow?

The couple had 2 other daughters Bridget Abina b. 1913 & Mary B born 1915 maybe in Co Cork not sure.

Any help appreciated thank you

DOB circa 1877 dont know his fathers name until I receive his marriage record. Do you have access to RIC records which are of particular interest to me. Tks :)

Hi I have seen a marriage in Feb. 1909. on the bottom it says
* Co. Carlow
This is when the male has to state place of birth. If you knew exactly his birth dates, I could look to see if the same comment has been inserted on the birth record, they usually do this.
His address is stated as County Meath.
Fathers name Timothy.
Maggsie

I know he married in Waterford 1909 this would be him in 1901 census in Ballyduff which is where his wife came from.  The birth you found for James Brennan 1st May 1879 in Bagnelstown looks promising. Thank you

edited to add
in case you are having difficulty locating it by the number 1054 just noticed the priest seems to have gone astray with his numbers they are all over the place out of sequence, best to search by the date 27th April
