Was just watching an episode of "Coast" on TV which prompted me to search out this list of passengers involved in the tragedy:

Interesting to see the confusion of "Hatfull" and "Threlfall". You'd be amazed at the range of names various Threlfalls have been interpreted as... usually Threlfall, occasionally Trelfall, too, I believe. Which did yours really end up being? All Threlfalls originated in Lancashire, and, if you go far enough back, most are related. Almost all can get back to 1700 ish.
