Thanks everyone for the help
I visited a small churchyard yesterday in the village the Benbows lived in, the first grave was a Mary Ann Benbow of the right age died aged 27, buried with her brother so the Mary Ann in Ireland was not mine

dathai had it that the Irish one wasn't her so glad to hear you found her. It was an interesting search and may be useful to someone someday.
