Mary Lambert
« on: Sunday 24 April 16 11:31 BST (UK) »
Hi!
Can anyone help with any of the following?

Trying to find the parents of a Mary Lambert from Durham. Mary married a Thomas Willson on 3rd June 1731 at Saint Andrews, Auckland and had the following issue:

Thomas Willson baptised April 1732

Eleanor Willson baptised 16th September 1733

Thomas Willson baptised December 1734

Isabel Willson baptised 16th January 1736

John Willson baptised 29th August 1736

John Willson baptised 23rd July 1738

Elizabeth Willson baptised 9th January 1739, died 12th June 1746

Mary Willson baptised November 1740, died 10th April 1742

Jane Willson baptised 5th July 1741

Mary Willson baptised February 1743, died 3rd May 1743

Thomas Willson baptised November 1743

Dorothy Willson baptised 10th June 1744

John Willson baptised December 1748, died 28th May 1758

All children were baptised at Saint Andrews, Auckland.

Mary Lambert may have had a daughter prior to her marriage to Thomas Willson:

Mary Lambert baptised 1st May 1727, Saint Andrews Auckland

The only other connection I can find is that of a Ralph Lambert who married in 1722 at Saint Andrews, Auckland (or 1729 at Monk Hesleden?) Anne Thompson and is recorded as being the father of:

Eleanor Lambert baptised 21 June 1720

Ralph Lambert baptised 28th May 1723

Anne Lambert baptised 11th August 1724, died November 1724

Robert Lambert baptised 30th January 1726

Ann Lambert baptised 24th July 1727

Mary Lambert baptised 6th January 1731

Don't know if there is a connection or not but Ralphs first daughter was called Eleanor, and Thomas and Mary Willsons first daughter was called Eleanor?

There is a Ralph Lambert being baptised at Brancepeth on 5th September 1693, son of a Ralph Lambert, and also a marriage of a Ralph Lambert to an Ann Fuiester on 2nd April 1696 at Brancepeth.

Going further back a Simon or Symond Lambert married Elizabeth Hodgshon in 1664 and had two sons baptised at Hamsterley - Raiph in 1665 and Robert in 1668 - maybe a connection to the Lambert family of Bishop Middleham and Owlton?

Any help much appreciated! :)
