Hi Dathai,
Thanks for the information, It's a good possibility that it is him, will research a bit more before adding him to the family tree, hoping to get a birth certificate for Kathleen, then I'll definitely get their mothers name.
Many thanks,
Elaine

Hi Dathai,
I came across those marriages as well, I know definitely Susan married Edward.I was also thinking that Catherine who married James Trainor could be an aunt and the Mrs Trainor that they lived with. I noticed with Catherine's marriage that Maggie McGivern was a witness, it gives me something to work with.
Many thanks,
Elaine.

Hi.

I'm trying to find my nans father.
All I have is that he was a sailor and was adopted in Ireland and his name which my nan said was Frederick Mcgivern.
Unfortunately my nan died a while ago so I had no other details.
He left my great nan when my nan was still young.
But I have found a navy record of a Frederick Mcgivern that says he was born in 1917.
Any chance this could be related?
