I know that Leanita wrote a note in her book about Marina Beckerleg who was born about 1872 Ashton. But she used to say, that her uncle is William and not her father. She was on the Titanic at age 4 on April 1912 heading to New York by the way

Also a Richard Goninon 37 occ Miner departed Southampton for New York 16th July 1921 on Vessel Aquitania address in UK Denby Villa, Enys Road, Camborne

 I believe James G is James Garfield Goninon and from the link posted by Maryann he's just Garfield Goninon on 1911 with mother Ann Selina, below is the 1901 census entry for this family posted previously on the thread by myself

Richard is not her father either,  but she wrote about him that he raised her for three years only before she visited the united state with her Aunt Lillie. and Richard was the one who took his sister Lillie and Leanita to the Titanic ship heading to new York in 1912, When leanita was 4 years old.

I'm getting slight confused now  Richard's sister Lillie & Leanita were born c1884 & c1889
if he took them to Titanic 1912 Lillie would have been aged 28 and Leanita aged 24 - did you miss type Leanita's age 4?

I think we are dealing with two different people who happened to have same name but related as an Aunt and a niece. Leanita who was 23 years old in 1910 is Richard sister. There is also Leanita who was born in 1909. She left the UK on the Titanic when she was 4 years old who it happened to be my mother in law and passed away in 1992 in Vancouver.

Leanita who was born in 1909 was one of the survivors on the Titanic in 1912

Lillie Goninon stayed and raised and cared for Leanita Goninon until hear death in ontario, Canada. They made a few trips back to the UK. But Leanita remained in Canada until her death in 1992
