Thanks everyone for helping. :)
I suppose I will never know where Sophia met Mr Jones or if indeed she actually went to the US.  (the line through her name)Sophia married in 1925.

I wondered about the number of living children being less than the number of children of the marriage listed.   Maybe an eldest child was not of this marriage but of a previous marriage or relationship OR, maybe, one of the children is not of the marriage but unofficially adopted or taken in (maybe a child of a rellie who died or something) and that child is the mysterious Lea Mude (maybe poor spelling for Leah Maude) for whom we cannot find a birth reg under Passmore!
Just a theory with absolutely no evidence to back it up at this stage!

Sophia's birth is there in 1906, Irene's in 1908, and Nelly in 1911. But nothing in between that might be Lea.   Who is she?

Thanks again everyone.
If anyone has access to 1911 census it looks like there were 8 children but the  number was rubbed out and 7 written over it and it also says that there are 6 alive and 1 dead. Because Lea/Leo was one when he/she died I wonder if the head put he/she in as well because that is the age in the census of Lea Mude. The number of children in the census stated add up to the number on the census if  Lea/Leo was included by mistake.
Leanita Goninon can be discounted because of the surname.
I have details of Marina Beckerleg before she married and Marina and her father don't appear in the 1891 census. Post elswhere for that.
I think that Lea Maud and whether Sophia ever went to the US will remain a mystery.
