Faded St Helens Park and Bay c1930's for clean and colour
« on: Thursday 28 April 16 02:41 BST (UK) »
During the summer months the little jetty would be packed with children, jumping or diving into the water.  In the shallows, young children would be making sandcastles and paddling.  The park would be dotted with families having picnics and buying treats from the kiosk in the photo.  The photo looks a bit faded and jaded, maybe a spruce up and colour would help.  The photo would have been taken in winter.

I'll post a current photo for comparison, although it's a bit closer up, it still gives an idea of what the original would have looked like in colour.

Any improvement would be appreciated, thanks and kind regards,  Aussielass  :)

Hi Wiggy, St Helens is a little local beach in Geelong, Victoria.  Thanks for your clean Wiggy, it's a great improvement and has bought out a lot more detail.

Re the scan, I love my Epson printer/scanner and I always use it in professional mode.  If people are prepared to give their time and expertise in resotoring photos I think it's only fair and appropriate that you provide the best scan possible for them to work on!  :) :)

Thanks and Kind Regards,  Aussielass  x  :)

Pat

Thanks Pat, for your brilliant colour and clean, it looks great.  It is a lovely place, a pleasant little park, great for walking dogs, and a pretty little bay, beautiful in early morning when the sun rises over the water.

Thanks Steve, a lovely version from you also!

Kind Regards, Aussielass :)
