Looking For Anne McLaughlin
« on: Saturday 30 April 16 03:35 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any information whatsoever about Anne McLaughlin who, according to the 1901 Census, was born about 1841 in Co. Cavan. She married Patrick McGreal of Co. Leitrim and had at least two daughters, Anne (b. 1863 in Co. Leitrim) and Mary (b. 1866 in Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim).

I have found very little about this family and would appreciate any leads anyone might have.
McGreal, McLaughlin in Co. Leitrim, Ireland.
Turner, Webb, Wilson, Cooper, Gilbert, Nadin, Repton, all in the Burton-Upon-Trent vicinity.

Thank you Gaffy. Where can details about Rose and Stephen be found? To add a bit of a background, my great-grandmother and her sister were shipped off to the United States in the 1880s by themselves with little more than a "best of luck to you". Identifying siblings in Ireland, and possibly living relatives at some point, would be a big deal in my family.

Thanks again Gaffy. This is exactly the type of information I'm looking for.

If anyone else has any additional information they could add about Rose and Stephen McGeal, or anyone else in the family, it would be greatly appreciated.
