Tree organised by date instead of generations
« on: Saturday 30 April 16 07:53 BST (UK) »
I'm thinking of drawing up an ancestor tree that positions the people's box vertically according to their birth dates or somehow shows their lifespans.
Software I use at the moment puts the ancestors on an equal horizontal line according to the generation, i.e. all great grand parents are show at the same height on the page.
Of course it doesn't take many generations past, for people's life spans to get "out of synchronization" from one side of your tree to another
Any body done this, or know of software that has this option ?

thanks in advance, Geoff

You can do this easily in Treedraw.
