61 West Street Bermondsey, SURREY

Is it possible for SKS to tell me who or what  lived at the above address at the time of the 1861 census.  Any help would be most appreciated.

I don't know about anybody else but I'm struggling to find anything between no 56 and 141 and the pages do seem to be torn and missing bits in between.
Perhaps you could give us a clue of a surname to look for?

A lot of West Street is not numbered    The last one I can see is also 56

thanks for taking the time to look guys.  A Tooley ancestor gave birth to a child there in Oct 1861, but she wasn't there at the time the census was taken as she was still at home in Lincolnshire.  So unfortunately I cannot give you a name.  I don't know if there was a relative living there or if it was a boarding house.  She may have been sent away to have the baby as it was illegitimate.

PS  She was back in West Street, Bermondsey in 1863 at No. 17.

It does not say it just has both numbers against it.  I can't read the surname of the occupant either.

In 1871 the property is listed as 61.62 and the head of the house is a licensed victualler 

Had a little look at the old pubs and found the Windsor Castle at 61-62 Eden Street, also stating it used to be 61 West Street.
