Had a quick look through, this is very interesting. I have had a look to see if I could find parents for wife Sarah and have found father John and mother Katherine in London. Not sure if they are the right people but it all seems to fit.

The christening for Matilda is also at Christchurch on 15 July 1810 born 26 April 1806 so born before her parents' marriage after her mother's death. The entry states Frances deceased. Father's occupation is merchant.

I've just looked at the record again, do you think it looks as if the name Frances has been added later? It seems too big for the space and in a heavier ink. Could it be that the first wife's name was written first, which given Matilda's birth date could be the correct mother, but the clerk knowing that Frances had died not long before thought she was the child's mother.
