The clergyman Firman Besett passed away 1915 - 1916 - there are adverts asking people to come forward if they have claims on the estate.

Smith, the Surrogate of the  County  of   Sullivan,  notice  1B hereby given to all  persons  having  claims  against the estate of  Firman    Bessett,  late of the Town  of  Mamakating,  in  said  County,  deceased, that  they  are   required  to  present   the  same with the vouchers  thereof,  to the undersigned, the   administrator   of  the  goods,  chattels  and  credits of said deceased, at his   office   in the  Village of Monticello.  Sullivan   County. N. Y..  on  or before  the  first  day of February,  1917.  Dated. July  17,1916. Roger W Seatrs Administrator. Lewis N Stanton Attorney  for  Administrator,  Monticello. N. Y
